Eight Years of Easter Memories

Happy Easter! (almost)! He is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed!

Molly was only two months old for her first Easter, in March 2008. My Mom sent us a pretty yellow sundress.
Easter 2009 was an exciting time. Stephen had just graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, and we were praying about the next step -- his enrollment at CUA.  My parents came for a visit.

In 2010, Molly was 2. 'nuff said.  I really wanted to get her some white shoes, but all she had on the big day were brown ones. Oh well- you live and learn.

In 2011, our cousins Luke and Lucy came to visit- with Grammy, Gramps, Aunt Carrie, and Uncle Brent.  I went to Target on Easter morning to buy Molly some white shoes!! Molly, you had a lot of fun dyeing Easter eggs with your cousins!

And....Frances was 6 months old Easter 2011!  :)

In 2012, we were living in Hyattsville. I had just returned from visiting and meeting up with my Mom in Abingdon, VA. The girls had those tiny Easter baskets from the dollar store!

2013 ~ a few Early Easter photos from our egg decorating eggstravaganza (sorry).  Pictured is Frances using the egg slow-dyer, and Molly "painting" with egg dye. It was so much fun, and as usual Molly was over-zealous and melodramatic about how much fun we were having.
2013~:-) dressy!

seven and four.

How are you celebrating Easter this year? Do you have any established traditions for your family or kids in particular? I'm getting ideas. I loved this post from Olivia for Easter ideas.
