PHFR~ Feb. 7~ romeo and juliet

capturing the context of contentment in everyday life... every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter

~Pretty~
Guess what?! It snowed!
And guess what else? We were in Atlanta, seeing a play at the Shakespeare Tavern... and the kids were with the Grandfolks.
We missed it- big bummer.
But the good thing - our kids still got to play in some snow this winter. :)

Fun in our backyard

So Serious! This big girl is 9 months old today. Where- where has the time gone?
Madeleine- You have been such a sweet companion to Frances.
You crack us up with your jerky movements- so deliberate to bring that juice to your mouth!
You're quieter than the other two. (My Mom calls her placid.)
You seem to be looking and observing before judging the world around you.
May this be a blessing for you. It is a great character trait.

The hubs determined that I needed to have an awesome weekend.
So he brought me to Atlanta!

Why you may ask?

Emory University
He was working on his part-time job- editing work on St. Patrick -

Just the two of us. Together. In a Library. Don't be too jealous.
I was working on my homework.

We saw Romeo and Juliet at The Shakespeare Tavern. Fun.
They did such a great job. The lines were spot-on. It was well-cast. We've been spoiled living in D.C., viewing theatrics the likes of which is only performed at the Folger Theatre. But this was still very good. Very, very good.

I will try not to be jealous of your date in the library. That would be a dream for me and my hubs.

Love the photos of your sweet little ones. They are just beautiful.

Have a great Thursday!!

What a fun place to visit - my sister went to grad school in Atlanta and I so enjoyed visiting her there. And, that bookstore looks like heaven!!
