Insta-Friday

I'm happy today. I got to see a good friend of mine last night. We grew up together. Although I feel like I'm not good at making conversation anymore (since moving and not having made many friends yet!:), we talked for over two hours. We talked about little things, meaningful things, we laughed very hard, and I'm very happy. She's a good friend. I'm glad we're back in the same town, and I'm glad she can get to know my kiddos.

I made corn muffins from scratch. Nothing so yummy with butter as these.

This is her usual pose. :) Sporting a very nice helmet from Goodwill. Can anyone believe she is a five-year-old? Crazy. She is such a big girl!

Have you ever ordered your pizza with jalapeños, yellow banana peppers, mushrooms, sausage, and fresh roma tomatoes? You should. You might feel sick after you eat it, but you still should.

:: By the way, did everyone read the COMMENTS on this post about juicing? There are some wicked good ideas. We have a juicer, and I'm just now feeling excited about whipping it back out. I will never be as serious about juicing as Joy the Baker, but that's ok because I'm not Joy the Baker.
