BIG NEWS: A New Website

Big news! we're now live with a new site design at www.tacywilliamsbeck.com!*

Read my most recent article : Advent as a Part of Growing Up over at Catholic Mom!

I am humbled to currently have a bi-monthly gig and five articles in publication online at Catholic Mom. It would be wonderful to have supporters as those articles go live, and as it attracts other readers to this homebase online. Taking a minute to make a sincere comment means the world to me.

How the Montessori Method is Making Me a More Confident Mom

The A-Z's of Creating Art With Children
Thoughts on Mary: How a Convert Accepts Teachings About Christ's Mama
9 Things to Do With Preschoolers, Besides Play Hide-and-Seek
Learning More About American History (thoughts on the movie Lincoln)

I have a book manuscript (that, despite past endeavors, has nothing to do with homeschooling!) and have submitted various articles to other publications.  The blog will be the place to promote these efforts.

I hope to continue to do this more professionally and really grow a readership here.

Do you want to be a supporter of my writing? Your dedication means the world!  If so, here are a few things you can do.

*Thank you, Rhonda Ortiz, for generously offering to help re-design this site!

for more about the design... read on.

Her explanation was as follows
"an ink drawing of a Tennessee mountain skyline, accented with dabs of color using water colors."
We bounced some ideas back and forth.
"The words to describe this little online space: serious, yet whimsical.... artistic, thoughtful, happy, bright, colorful, on the road again - speaking of,  'picture a skyline' with the road trip pic from the about page in mind.

always remember: "When you share your words, you can change the world."
